Latest Message from the SGIG

This is a reminder regarding the upcoming Joint Reunion.

Esteemed team members.

It seems every time a Masonic Event is scheduled, someone asks, "What do we wear?" "When and where do we go?" "Why didn't I get the message?"

1. Friday August 28, 2026 Blue Lodge Room of Greensboro Temple is the Summer Orient Advisory Retreat. $30 attendance fee covers Saturday for Masons. Dress Code is coat and tie, preferably business suit. Ladies are welcome to attend in dress slacks or dress. Payment can be made at the door on FRIDAY.

2. Ladies auxiliary meets at 2:00 p.m. to decorate the Banquet Room at the hotel while SOAR is happening at the Temple. Bring greenery, scissors, and ideas for what to do the next day while reunion is happening at Temple.

3. Friday August 28, 2026 at Doubletree Gate City BLVD beginning at 6:00 p.m. is a Social Hour followed by a Banquet for REGISTERED ATTENDEES. It is FORMAL. Cost $75.00. If not registered by now, call me to see if any availability still exists.

4. Saturday August 29, 2026 at the Greensboro Masonic Temple is the Reunion. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and we begin at 8:45 a.m. If you have not paid $30 by the time the reunion starts, you may not eat. The Reunion concludes when it concludes with the 30th degree.

There are no more facts to share than those previously shared which have been the same for over a month now. I trust you will share this information as needed when people ask or have those asking to call me. I will be happy to help them understand what they have missed and get back with you on it as well.

See you this weekend and thanks for making sure folks in your Valley and team are informed.
